Direct Hire: Martha Vance & Associates, Inc. has prided itself on recruiting, training, and
placing professionals in the central Ohio work place for over two decades. When you find it
difficult to find the right person to fill a recently vacated position, or the need to
expand, we will provide you with several potential applicants to fill the void. All of our
applicants are screened through personal interviews and must complete a series of
evaluations on software and computer skills. We do this for two
reasons: First, to assure you that our applicants can perform the daily duties to complete
the job and second, to help our applicants identify areas of deficiency so they can
improve themselves and become more marketable.
Temp-to-Hire: Frequently our clients would like to evaluate an
associate prior to hiring them. This option allows for the employer to work with our
associate, observe their abilities and determine if they will work well in the
organization. The temporary-to-hire option is a slightly higher bill rate than our
temporary billing rates because the applicant becomes part of your team after a
predetermined number of hours worked.
Short term temporary: In today's world, many people desire flexibility. They want to work
when they want and where they want. With thousands of active employees, we can find the right
person for you in a short amount of time. Just let us know the skills you require,
responsibility of the position, length of the assignment and we will assist you promptly.
Special Project Work: Many of our clients find themselves in a
pinch with a project that requires several "outside" employees with specialized
skills to assist in its completion. It is not uncommon for us to provide 15 or 20
temporaries to assist with such projects. Whether it is customer service, data entry, or
administrative tasks, Martha Vance & Associates, Inc. can help you accomplish your task in a short amount of time.
What makes us different?
Orientation: Every employee we meet with must complete the
Personal Interview all candidates have a one-on-one
interview with a personnel consultant. This allows us to evaluate the applicant's
communication skills and offers us additional insight about the applicant's past
work history and career goals.
CD-ROM New Hire Orientation- Our state of the art New Hire CD-ROM is a means for
us to assure consistency in orienting our new associates to our polices and procedures. The American Staffing Association awarded this new tool
with First Place in its Multi-Media Advertising and Public Relations Competition in October of 1999 and 2001. The award
was given at the ASA's annual Convention and EXPO.
Software Proficiency Evaluations: Each candidate is evaluated on various software
packages. We utilize industry leading testing software from ProveIt! and QWIZ to determine the level of proficiency each
candidate possesses. The testing results are grouped by Basic, Intermediate and Advanced knowledge of the respective
software packages. At your request we can perform additional, more in-depth evaluations.
Background Checks: At your request we can perform background
checks on any potential employee. All direct hire placements will have reference checks
performed for your convenience after an offer of employment has been made.
